Further to its communication of 10 December, GME informs market participants that the new version of Technical Rule no. 03 MPE (“Timing of activities for the sessions of the MGP, MI, MSD, and for the Nomination Platform”) will enter into force as of the date of flow of 14 January 2026.

As a result of such change, the deadline for XBID trading and nominations will be postponed by thirty minutes with respect to the previous timing, with the consequent postponement of the generation of the corresponding US files and of the closing of the sessions of the MBh.

The new timing of the (MI-XBID) market will start from:

1. for the trading of the Simple Product 15 minutes (Quarter-hourly): from the 44^th quarter-hour of the day of flow of 14 January 2026 (from 10:45 to 11:00), for which the trading on the MI-XBID will close at 10:15 of 14 January 2026;
2. for the trading of the Simple Product 1 hour (Hourly): from the 12^th hour of the day of flow of 14 January 2026 (from 11:00 to 12.00), for which the trading on the MI-XBID will close at 10:30 of 14 January 2026.

The new timing of the nomination phase will apply from the first applicable period of the day of flow of 14 January (quarter-hour 1, from 00:00 to 00:15); the nomination for this period may be submitted until 23:33 today, 13 January 2026.

Consequently, the last nomination on the day of flow of 13 January (for quarter-hour 96, from 23:45 to 00.00) must be submitted within 22:48.

Moreover, the timing of notifications about the PN and, consequently, of adequacy verifications has been changed.
In particular, with the entry into force of the new version of Technical Rule no. 3 MPE, GME will notify Terna, BRPs (or their delegated agents), and BSPs of the following:

1. at 14:05 of day D-1: the provisional quarter-hourly nominations referred to in Technical Rule no. 22 MPE, for all the applicable periods of flow day D;
2. at 15:30 of day D-1, the provisional quarter-hourly nominations referred to in Technical Rule no. 22 MPE, for all the applicable periods of flow day D;
3. at 17:05 of day D-1, the provisional quarter-hourly nominations referred to in Technical Rule no. 22 MPE, for all the applicable periods of flow day D;
4. at 23:10 of day D-1, the provisional quarter-hourly nominations referred to in Technical Rule no. 22 MPE, for all the applicable periods of flow day D;
5. at the end of the nomination phase of each applicable period, the definitive nominations concerning such applicable period, and the provisional nominations for the remaining applicable periods of the same flow day D, for which the nomination phase has not yet been completed.
