Further to its communications of 15 July and 1 October 2025 , GME informs market participants that it will organise the second stage of blank tests on the trading of the new weekend products consisting of more than two days, as well as of the consequent daily and Working Days Next Week (WK/DY NW) products listed on such occasion.
GME points out that the scenario to be tested will take place for the first time in the MGAS during the Christmas 2025 period. In such period, a weekend product consisting of 4 days (namely WE-2025-52 corresponding to 25, 26, 27, and 28 December 2025), the WK/DY NW product consisting of 3 days (WD-2025-52 corresponding to 22, 23, and 24 December 2025), and the daily products G+4 and G+5 (corresponding to 28 and 29 December, respectively) will be tradable.
Blank test sessions will be held only on the working days from 1 to 7 December on the test platform, available at https://provegas.ipex.it/MGasWebSite/ in the following hours:
- opening of the sitting for submission of bids/offers at 09:30;
- closing of the sitting for submission of bids/offers at 16:30.
In order to reproduce the scenario planned for the WE-2025-52 product on the working days from 1 to 7 December, trading will be simulated according to the following timetable:
- trading of the WK/DY NW product consisting of 3 gas-days only (Monday 22, Tuesday 23, and Wednesday 24 December 2025);
- trading of the WE product consisting of 4 gas-days (Thursday 25, Friday 26, Saturday 27, and Sunday 28 December 2025);
- trading of the daily products G+4 (Sunday 28 December 2025) and G+5 (Monday 29 December 2025).
It is worth noting that, on the days from 15 to 24 December 2025, the timetable and the ordinary product naming conventions should take into account the following changes:
- in the week from 15 to 19 December, the WD-2025-52 product, consisting of 3 gas-days (Monday 22, Tuesday 23, and Wednesday 24 December 2025), will be tradable;
- on Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 December, the WE-2025-52 product, consisting of 4 gas-days (Thursday 25, Friday 26, Saturday 27, and Sunday 28 December 2025), will be tradable;
- on 24 December, the products G+4 (corresponding to Sunday 28 December) and G+5 (corresponding to Monday 29 December), identified on Trayport as Sunday and DA, respectively, will be tradable.
For details about trading and product naming conventions, please refer to the MGAS reference timetable.
The other weekends being traded in the MGAS prior to the Christmas 2025 weekend will ordinarily consist only of the gas-days corresponding to Saturday and Sunday.
Other parties wishing to participate in the blank tests may request the registration of their digital certificates at provegas.ipex.it/gaswebsite/register.aspx
