PCE - Electricity Account Registration Platform
ARERA Decision no. 111/06, subsequently amended and integrated with Decision 253/06 and Decision 73/07 (hereinafter: ARERA Decision 111/06) modified, starting from 1 April 2007, the procedures for registering forward contracts for the sale and purchase of electricity through the introduction of an "energy account system" (Electricity Account Registration Platform (PCE)).
Decision 111/06 identifies GME as the organization responsible for the management of PCE, assuming the role of counterparty of the financial obligations which arise for participants who register transactions on the PCE.
