GME makes available an Application Programming Interface (API) to access its market data, available in the “Results” section of its website.
To request the credentials for accessing to GME’s API service, the applicant must fill in the registration form available at the following address:
https://api.mercatoelettrico.org/users/RegistrationForm/RegistrationRequest
To access the service, as explained in the API Service Manual, the applicant must accept the related
- Terms of Use
and, if the applicant represents a company/organisation, he/she should submit
- a declaration pursuant to Decree of the President of the Republic no. 445/00, certifying his/her powers of representation,
or, if the applying legal representative is not an EU citizen,
- other equivalent documents (e.g. extract of company registration report or copy of notarial power of attorney). based on which GME will carry out a substantial equivalence evaluation.
The above documents must be submitted, in pdf format and digitally signed in accordance with the applicable legislation, via certified e-mail to GME’s certified e-mail address: gme@pec.mercatoelettrico.org.
If the applicant has no certified e-mail address, he/she must submit the documents, digitally signed in accordance with the applicable legislation, to GME’s dedicated e-mail address: posta.gme@mercatoelettrico.org.
If the applicant has no digital signature certificate, he/she must sign the documents in handwritten form and submit them together with a copy of a valid identity document.
After verifying the regularity of the received documents, GME will send to the applicant the access credentials (user id, password), by standard e-mail to the user e-mail address specified in the same documents.

Any request for cancelling an authorised user, to be submitted to
SupportoAPI@mercatoelettrico.org, will be followed by cancellation of the same user.
